I went to a baby shower a couple of months ago and received Burt’s Bees Lip Balm as a game prize. I was not overly excited about it until I tried it! This lip balm is the bomb! LOL…seriously, this is the perfect light coverage balm great for moisturizing without heavily coating your lips. This balm works well alone and under lipstick. It makes my lips really soft and it has a slight minty tingle and flavor. I like that it’s really conditioning but not too strong that it burns your lips, it doesn’t leave a heavy waxy film on your lips, and it’s not shiny like a lipgloss; it is exactly what it says it is…lip balm. Here’s the list of ingredients: beeswax, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, prunus amydalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, mentha piperita (peppermint) oil, tocopheryl acetate, lanolin, symphytum officinale (comfrey) root extract, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf oil, tocopherol
It comes in a tube and also in a tin. I have the tin but when I repurchase I’ll definitely get the tube. I’d prefer not to have to apply it with my fingers but since this was a gift I’m not complaining :-)
Product Rating: 4 out of 5
So would I recommend it…YES!
